Easiest Way to Make Homemade Caramac chocolate

Hey everyone, I hope you’re having an amazing day today. Today, we’re going to prepare a special dish, caramac chocolate. One of my favorites. This time, I am going to make it a little bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Caramac is the brand name for a caramel-flavored bar that Mackintosh created, and now Nestlé manufactures it. Caramac is the brand name for a caramel -flavoured bar that was created by Mackintosh's, and is now manufactured by Nestlé. Now it's pretty much the same as eating white chocolate.

  1. Prepare 250 g good quality White chocolate -fat content of 35+

This superb milk chocolate bar is mixed with delicious caramel to make an indulgent treat. In a large bowl using a hand mixer, beat butter and sugars until fluffy. After doing both ways , oven & microwave and failing , I decided to find my own way.

Steps to make Caramac chocolate:
  1. Break up your chocolate into small chunks and microwave for 1 minute.
  2. Take out of the microwave and give a good stir.
  3. On a baking sheet spread evenly but thinly the chocolate across the sheet and place in the oven on a 140c heat.
  4. After 10 mins, scrape it all into the centre of the sheet using a silicone spatula and re-spread again thinly and evenly.
  5. You will see browning of the chocolate caramelising.
  6. Keep doing this until you get a nice tanned looking chocolate. You will get thin streaks of through it but it cannot be helped.
  7. When this has been done, either put into a chocolate mold or like me, I used cake scrapers to shape my bar so it can be as think or thick as you want. Mark your cuts gently before placing into the fridge.
  8. Let it chill for at least an hour before eating. Enjoy !

Cadbury's Caramilk chocolate is very similar to Nestle's Caramac bars and McVities Gold Bar biscuits. Essentially, it's white chocolate mixed with caramel to form a whole bar of caramel. As the name suggests, Caramac bars are delicious caramel-flavour, without any of the inconvenience caramel causes when it gets squashed in the bottom of your bag or its chocolate coating melts.
